2nd Informed Cities Forum

The magical egg put by the Roman poet Virgil into the foundations of the Castel dell' Ovo to support its fortifications seems to have also reinforced the dialogue between local governments and researchers during the Informed Cities Forum 2011.

This Forum, hosted by the Municipality of Naples and the University of Naples Federico II, gathered inside the castle's inspiring walls over 150 participants from twenty six countries - including policy makers, researchers and enthusiastic speakers, who confirmed once more, that policy making needs to hold hands with research if sustainable communities want to be achieved in our present Europe.
